Prof Wessel du Toit has been involved with wine science and wine education the past 15 years. He is currently an associate professor in Oenology (wine science) at the department of Viticulture and Oenology, Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He teaches a number of wine related courses at the University and to the general public. He also does extensive research on many different aspects related to wine, with a specific focus on wine production, wine sensory and wine chemistry. He loves his wife, 2 kids, dog, turtle, a good glass of white wine and sushi, in no particular order.
